you can't really go wrong but i'd say any caster class would be a fine secondary. i don't think one of ele, necro, mesmer or monk would be better than the other.

It really depends on what your are trying to accomplish. The Ritualist is truly a varied class that can be molded into whatever you want it to be. I can think of quite a few advantages to some of the secondaries that are out there.

Elementalist - Can combine the Channeling attacks of the Ritualist with the Air magic attacks of a Elem. Also there maybe some use for a combination of Wards and protective spirits.

Necro - Undead minions and spirits working together to do so crazy damage.

Monk - Use monk and rit healing skills combined with some of the healing and protecting spirits.

I think a Rit/ele would run into energy problems if you use the very expensive skills, like meteor shower. I have been using the Elem secondary myself, and it has worked well for me. So far I have been mainly using the spammable low energy air magic skills.

necro for the secondary is a natural choice.

ritualists have skills that increase the health of spirits and minions. they will never replace the minion master, but it is a nice twist on the profession.

explosive growth with nova is a pretty killer combination.

You have plenty of skills in Ranger line. I use in Beast Mastery to get Energizing Wind up and get 10 or less energy cost for each spells in Channeling, Communing and/or Restoration. Of course, spawning for more HP of my spirits.

Im using fire ele as my secondary, and only with high cost skills like meteor shower and stuff like that, i run into nrg problems, but that can be part countered with Aura Of Restoration, that gives you 30% of the base nrg back.

Else, low cost skills like Flare, Meteor (dont spam it, because of exhaustion) and skills like that are pretty good, and going communing at the same time, can buy you some good protected time, with Union. Ect.

Hope you can use it.

i have a Rt/ele aswell, using water spells atm. its not easy, and in most fights im waiting for energy alot. dont really have energy regen skills yet so i gotta find me one.. then i`ll try it out some more,, and maybe switch to ele/rt instead if it doesnt work out

but.. im a noob so please fill me in.. would ele/rt really fix anything ? because the energy pips are the same so you`ll have 1 extra nuke from a full bar but from that point you have the same limitations because of same regen, is that about right |
